Abstract

MeToo was a campaign to support victims of sexual assault. As this campaign spread on Iranian social networks, especially the publication of a letter from 800 female actresses, concerns in this regard increased, and in parallel, many legal questions were raised regarding its nature and consequences. So far, no scientific research has examined camping from the perspective of legal standards. This article is written descriptively, using library resources and legal analysis of MeToo content. Its goal is to understand the nature and legal consequences of participating in camping. The research findings show that the legal consequences of participating in the campaign for the attributor and the person attributed depend on factors such as clarity, type of attribution, and proving attribution. Since most of the MeToo content is sexual abuse arising from professional requirements, the legal vacuum in this area must be filled.
